About Sanni

Born: Kiel/Germany
Birthday: 11/06/1991

Even as a child, I was always looking for challenges and adventures.
The water was my element. I loved being on the ocean and dreamed of becoming an offshore sailor one day.

I started in small dinghies. As a teenager, I set my mind on representing Germany at the Olympics — and I gave everything to make it happen.
Thirteen years later, still in the same boat with my long-time sailing partner Tina Lutz, we won the silver medal in the 49erFX.

But I never lost sight of my offshore dream.
In 2022, I moved to Lorient in France — the Silicon Valley of sailing — to learn from the best. I joined the Figaro 3 class and took part in the legendary La Solitaire du Figaro.

Off the water, I’m fascinated by how the mind shapes performance, which is why I study psychology.
And I love to motivate others — encouraging those who need it most is something truly close to my heart.
